An open house highlighting the Wii Chiiwaaknak Learning Centre at the University of Winnipeg will be held today.
Showing off the programs offered for children, youth, elders, and families in the community, Wii Chiiwaakanak is an outreach initiative that provides educational, learning and capacity building opportunities in Winnipeg’s inner city.
The public can get a look inside from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at 511 Ellice Avenue.
The centre provides 1,000 community members with free and open access to the RBC Community Learning Commons, computer classes, after school programs including every month.
