The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will open the 2013 regular season on Thursday, June 27 at Investors Group Field against the Montreal Alouettes.
The CFL released the full season schedule on Tuesday, which also sees the Bombers play two exhibition games on Wednesday, June 12 at home against Toronto, and on Thursday, June 20 on the road against Hamilton.
“We are extremely excited with the release of our schedule and we believe our fans have a lot to look forward to this upcoming season,” said Blue Bomber president and CEO Garth Buchko. “The fact that our team gets to host the first game of the year in all of the CFL is very exciting and we anticipate a great season both on the field and in the stands as kickoff the inaugural season at our new stadium, Investors Group Field, in 2013.”
The Bombers will play the first three of its five games at home, and will host the Manitoba Lotteries Banjo Bowl on Sunday, September 8 against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
