A career fair on Thursday will target women to join the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Women on the Front Lines is being organized by RCMP’s Manitoba “D” Division as a way to expose women to a career in policing. The open house will feature representatives not only from the RCMP, but Winnipeg Police Service, CSIS, Department of National Defence, Manitoba Justice, federal and provincial corrections and more.
Anyone interested can attend for free on March 7 between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. at HMCS Chippawa, 1 Navy Way.
