Katz to Deliver State of the City Address on Friday

Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz will address the city’s business leaders on Friday during his annual State of the City address.

Hosted by the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, Katz will speak at around 12:45 p.m. at the Winnipeg Convention Centre following a noon hour luncheon.

The event is expected to draw close to 1,000 people and will donate 50 percent of its proceeds to Child Find Manitoba and Beyond Borders.

The Chamber, along with Downtown Winnipeg Biz and Storefront MB, will also present Commerce Design Winnipeg awards to nine Winnipeg merchants.
