The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have extended the contract of veteran receiver Terrence Edwards.
The two-time CFL All-Star recorded his third straight 1,000-yard season in 2012 — and fifth of his career — hauling in 70 passes for 1,049 yards and four touchdowns.
“This organization has always been good to me and my family and I want nothing more than to be able to help this team win a championship,” Edwards said in a release. “I fully believe in the direction this team is going in and I look forward to returning to the locker room and playing in front of our fans at Investors Group Field this upcoming season.”
Edwards enters his seventh season with the Blue Bombers — ninth in the CFL — and currently sits in fourth place on the team’s all-time receiving yardage with 6,651 yards.
