The University of Manitoba Bison men’s hockey team has recruited Jordan DePape for the upcoming 2013-14 season.
The soon-to-be 21-year-old is a Winnipeg native currently finishing up his four-year WHL career with the Red Deer Rebels.
“(Jordan) is a quality person with tremendous character who will fit in very well to the Bison culture,” said head coach Mike Sirant. “Jordan’s quickness and offensive abilities plus his commitment to defense will make him a valuable addition to the Bison lineup.”
The 6’0”, 191 lbs. forward also played in the Young Stars Tournament on the roster of the Winnipeg Jets.
