Six University of Manitoba students who have been camping outside this week will end their campaign today.
5 Days for the Homeless has been raising awareness and support for Resource Assistance for Youth, Inc. (RaY), while also shining the spotlight on homelessness across the country.
Closing ceremonies are planned for 5 p.m. in the lobby of the Asper School of Business, where co-chairs Jayd Christie and Rachel Dufresne will present a cheque to RaY executive director Kelly Holmes. As of Thursday afternoon, $23,303 had been raised.
Donations can still be made online to help meet the $25,000 fundraising goal.
