What started off as a one-time gathering of Irish-loving St. Patrick’s Day revellers is back for another year.
The second annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take over sidewalks in downtown Winnipeg on Saturday, albeit a day earlier than the 17th.
Organizers are encouraging anyone who comes out to wear green and meet at The Forks at 12:15 p.m. The group will depart at 1 p.m. and walk north up Main Street to West Broadway, north up Donald Street and east down Portage Avenue, eventually heading south on Main and back to The Forks for 2 p.m.
The all-ages parade is open to anyone who wants to join in.
See the parade route below.
