The University of Manitoba Bison women’s basketball team will have two head coaches at the helm again next season.
Michele Hynes and Randy Kusano return as co-coaches for the upcoming 2013-14 season. The two took over for head coach Pam Danis last season after she went on leave to work in real estate.
The Bison women’s basketball program finished seventh in the Prairie Division of the Canada West conference with a 2-20 record in the 2012-13 conference regular season.
“Randy and I are very excited to be given an opportunity to continue to build a program that will be nationally competitive. We know we have a lot of work to do but we look forward to the challenge,” Hynes, 25, said.
Kusano, 61, was the winningest coach in the history of high school basketball in Manitoba.
