The University of Manitoba Bisons football team has signed four recruits who spent the last season playing in B.C.
The Bisons on Friday announced the commitments of defensive end Sonu Kainth, defensive tackle Kent Hicks, receiver Brandon Barratt and linebacker Tyler Lee for the upcoming 2013 season.
Besides Lee, who played in junior, Kainth, Hicks and Barratt come straight out of high school.
“All four of these players are outstanding players in B.C. and really happy to have them become Bisons,” head coach Brian Dobie said. “We have always had success in recruiting in the B.C. region and it has been one the more prominent areas to recruit nationally and proud to announce these four new additions to join the Bison football program.”
