Two people were taken into custody on Friday after Winnipeg police raided two separate marijuana grow-ops.
Search warrants were executed in the 100 blocks of Kowall Bay and Pickley Crescent, where officers seized 411 marijuana plants worth an estimated $460,000. An additional $17,000 worth of marijuana and mushrooms were also seized, along with grow equipment estimated at $35,000 and $2,875 in cash.
A 49-year-old woman and 21-year-old man, both from Petersfield, Manitoba were released on promises to appear. The two are facing numerous drug-related charges.
