Canada’s History Given a Chance in New Recording

In 1969, The Beatles’ John Lennon and wife Yoko Ono recorded “Give Peace a Chance” in Montreal during a bed-in for peace.

Now more than 40 years later, a group of history buffs in Winnipeg have recorded their own rendition with the “lost recording” from Canadian history.

The uniquely Canadian version of the song, “Give History a Chance,” was released this week and will be shared in more detail in the latest issue of this month’s Canada History magazine.
