Tickets for next month’s I Heart UWinnipeg dinner are on sale now for the annual student fundraiser.
Proceeds from the evening on Thursday, May 23 at Canad Inns Polo Park will benefit the University of Winnipeg’s Opportunity Fund, which offers inner city youth extra financial assistance to help them attend university and achieve their dreams.
This year’s event features honourary co-chairs, local singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk (alumna of The Collegiate at the U of W) and Michael Bruneau.
Last year’s event attracted 600 people and raised more than $210,000 to help students in need.
Individual tickets are $95 per person ($45 tax receipt) and corporate sponsorships are available from $1,200 and up.
