A six-year-old boy is recovering in a Winnipeg hospital after being mauled by a pack of stray dogs in Shamattawa, Manitoba.
The incident happened Monday morning when three canines attacked the boy, causing him to suffer serious injuries.
The young victim was taken to the local nursing station for treatment and later flown to Winnipeg. He’s listed in stable condition.
RCMP and local band officials located the destroyed the dogs in the interest of public safety.
