A 63-year-old man from New Brunswick is Brandon’s second homicide victim of the year.
Police were called to the Motel 6 on Middleton Avenue Wednesday night after an apparent stabbing. Police say the victim suffered from upper body injuries and was located in one of the rooms.
A 26-year-old man, also from New Brunswick, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He will appear in court at a later date.
The victim and suspect were known to each other.
