Organizers of the 9th annual Canadian Folk Music Awards (CFMA) have put the call out for submissions.
Canadian artists and groups whose albums were released in Canada between June 15, 2012 to June 14, 2013 are eligible.
The awards boast 20 categories, with five nominees in each. A three stage jury process by 100 jurors located across Canada representing all official provinces, territories and languages determine the official winners in each category.
The earlybird submission deadline is May 24, 2013. The final deadline is June 28, 2013.
This year’s awards show is set for November 8-10 in Calgary.
