The largest lottery jackpot in Canadian history will be up for grabs on Saturday.
The Lotto 6/49 jackpot will be worth a staggering $55 million, breaking the previous record of $54.3 million for a Canadian ticket claimed in 2005.
Manitoba’s largest jackpot ever claimed was in 2009 when Kirby and Marie Fontaine of Sagkeeng First Nation won $50 million in a Lotto Max draw.
Ticket sales for the Lotto 6/49 draw end at 8 p.m. CT on Saturday.
