Have an appetite for endless pasta? Better pace yourself on Saturday.
National Pasta Day at The Forks will raise funds for Winnipeg Harvest and the junior chef’s program of the Canadian Culinary Federation tomorrow.
From 11:30 a.m to 2 p.m., plates of spaghetti will be served with the choice of meat or vegetarian sauce and a bread stick.
“Once again, some of the city’s best chefs will serve up plates of pasta to help raise funds for Winnipeg Harvest and the CCFCC National,” said Brent Prockert, president of the Winnipeg Chapter of the Canadian Culinary Federation.
The third annual event takes place in The Forks Market’s centre court.
