Members of Winnipeg’s theatre community and local celebrities will present fresh writings from the country’s most noted authors on Saturday.
Wine & Words is being presented by Theatre by the River at the Asper Centre for Theatre and Film at 7 p.m.
Celebrities include Chrissy Troy (103.1 Virgin Radio), Doug Speirs (Winnipeg Free Press), Sheila North Wilson (AMC), and Joff Schmidt (CBC), who will present live readings of new, never-before-published work from celebrated authors.
Tickets are $20 and all proceeds support Theatre by the River’s upcoming season, featuring Morris Panych’s “7 Stories” and Chekhov’s “The Cherry Orchard.”
