An urban adventure coming to The Forks will raise funds for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg.
The Capital One Race for Kids event will be held June 1 and fundraise for youth programs and services in the community.
“We’re planning an urban adventure event that Winnipeg has never seen before,” said Ron Brown, president and CEO of Boys and Girls Clubs. “This is a great way to have some fun while supporting children and youth in our city.”
Similar to a scavenger hunt, teams of four must tackle 10 checkpoints across the city, each designed to focus the mind and challenge the body. Twenty-two communities are participating this year.
