The Manitoba Bison men’s hockey team has recruited Taylor Dickin for the upcoming 2013-14 season.
The 24-year-old Winnipeg native played two seasons with the University of North Dakota plus league MVP with Selkirk Steelers. Last season he was a red shirt with the Bisons.
“Taylor was a dominant player in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League before moving on to the University of North Dakota,” said head coach Mike Sirant. “He attracted much interest from the Toronto Maple Leafs who invited him to several of their prospect development camps. He is a big body forward with good hands and puck protection skills making it difficult to get the puck off of him.
Dickin is a graduate of River East Collegiate.
