The RM of St. Andrews has launched its own smartphone application to better communicate with its residents.
With the threat of high water levels in the coming weeks, the RM’s app provides any emergency notices that may == be issued, as well as local news, events, maps and a business directory.
“With the launch of our own iPhone app we can access our residents at anytime and from any location immediately on their smart phones,” RM of St Andrews Reeve Don Forfar. “The way we communicate has changed and we can no longer expect people to start their computers every time to access timely information.”
An Android version of the app will be available soon.
Last month, the Town of Stonewall also introduced its own mobile app.
