Take Pride Winnipeg! is launching its spring cleanup campaign today in partnership with Tim Hortons.
Now that the snow is almost gone, volunteers can hit city streets to target litter in neighbourhoods that need it the most.
“We rely on volunteers to help us clean up city streets and parks once the snow melts each year,” said Tom Ethans, executive director of Take Pride Winnipeg! Inc. “Between eighty and ninety percent of cleanup volunteers are students, so we hold a special kick-off to thank them for their efforts.”
