Vote in CAA Manitoba’s Worst Roads campaign.
Listen up, motorists… your time to nominate the province’s worst roads is coming to an end.
CAA Manitoba’s Worst Roads campaign will wrap up today, and so far has garnered more than 4,600 votes. The road currently in first place (that’s not a good thing) is Victoria Avenue in Brandon, followed by St. James Street, which won the title of worst road last year. Winkler’s 1st Street currently sits in third place.
“Over the last few days, we’ve saw a bump in the votes coming in,” said CAA Manitoba spokeswoman Liz Peters. “We knew people were frustrated with the state of our roads, but when this many people log on to vote, it tells us they care about more than just complaining. They care about finding a solution too.”
Votes that come in between now and midnight will be counted towards the totals and the final results will be released on Thursday.
