MTS will extend its fibre optic network to Stonewall, Manitoba in the coming months.
MTS crews will begin deploying the FiON Network this summer, with plans to launch new services later this year.
The network will allow Stonewall residents to combine their services with the provider, including home phone, TV and Internet. Regional radio station CJNU will also be available locally on channel 275.
This expansion to Stonewall is part of a multi-year program to deploy MTS’s fibre-to-the-home network to over 20 communities in Manitoba since launching the network in 2010.
