RCMP have charged a 20-year-old man in connection a double homicide in Ethelbert, Manitoba earlier this year.
Elsie Steppa, 81, and Clarence Thornton (known as Harry Jones), 50, were found dead in their home on January 19.
After an investigation, police have charged Payton Saari of Ethelbert with two counts of first-degree murder. He remains in custody.
Both deceased were known to the accused.
Saari will make his first court appearance in Dauphin on May 6.
