Arborg Man Killed in Crash on Highway 7

RCMP Crest LogoA 76-year-old Arborg man was killed Thursday after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 7 just south of Arborg.

The collision happened at around 9 a.m. when the man’s 1994 Buick Century crossed into oncoming traffic after losing control. The southbound Buick was struck on the driver’s side by a northbound 2013 Ford Escape.

The driver of the Buick was taken to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The 37-year-old Teulon man driving the Escape was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP say road conditions at the time were slippery and ice-covered.

The name of the deceased isn’t being released.
