A Winnipeg man is in stable condition after he was stabbed on Maryland Street Wednesday.
Winnipeg police said they were called to the scene in the 400 block of Maryland Street where they found a 43-year-old man in critical condition at about 3:40 a.m. He was taken to hospital and later upgraded to stable.
Police said the man had been walking in the area when he was approached by several unknown males. He was then stabbed multiple times.
