The University of Winnipeg Wesmen men’s baseball team is getting a chance to step up to bat with the pros this weekend.
The Wesmen will take on the Winnipeg Goldeyes on Friday during a special exhibition game at 6 p.m. at Shaw Park.
“Once again we are very fortunate to have the opportunity to play the Goldeyes. They are a major supporter of our program and we appreciate everythng they do for us”, said Wesmen head coach Mike Krykewich.
Tickets are $5 and available at the Goldeyes’ ticket office.
The Fish won their pre-season game against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Monday 10-6. The two teams meet again tonight.
