Talk about a slithery surprise.
Winnipeg police confirmed Wednesday morning a passer-by had found a live five-foot python inside a Dumpster in the 200 block of Wellington Crescent.
Police said a member of the WPS’s Canine Unit contained the snake until Animal Services could arrive.
Winnipeg’s Animal Services continue to investigate.
