Winnipeg police say they have located a man nearly four years after he first went missing.
Brent Alexander Staple, then 33, was reported missing on June 28, 2009. He went missing in the University Heights area of the city, and police said at the time it was “very uncharacteristic” for him to disappear.
Police issued a missing-persons release on July 7 of the same year.
Police said Thursday that they had located Staple through an “ongoing police investigation,” adding he was located safely.
