Multiple Garage Fires Keep Firefighters Busy

Winnipeg firefighters were kept hopping Friday night with a string of garage fires.

Crews were called to the 300 block of Aberdeen Avenue around 6 p.m., followed by a call to the 800 block of Dominion Street at around 10:30 p.m. No word on a cause in either of the fires, but damage on Dominion is estimated at $60,000.

Shortly before 11 p.m., firefighters were then called to the 1000 block of Alfred Avenue for another garage fire.

There was no reported injuries in any of the incidents.
