Motorcycle enthusiasts are gearing up for the 12th Annual Breast Cancer Pledge Ride on Sunday, June 2.
The charity ride raises funds for the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation and has brought in over $536,000 for the cause since its inception.
Funds raised to date have made it possible for the Foundation to purchase a third mobile mammography unit that travels throughout the province, a van to transport the units, a molecular imaging system, upgrades to the mobile mammography units, wigs for the wig loan program and educational materials.
The ride depart from Assiniboia Downs and heads to Winnipeg Beach. Pledges and rider registrations are being accepted online.
