Motorhome Catches Fire East of Winnipeg

A motorhome burst into flames Saturday morning on Highway 1 east near Spruce Siding, Manitoba.

The recreational vehicle was towing a Toyota Corolla when the fire started at about 10:30 a.m. Two people escaped unharmed.

The cause of the fire appears to be mechanical in nature, according to RCMP.

As of 3 p.m., one eastbound lane on Highway 1 was open to traffic and motorists were advised of some delays.
