A group of 15 musical acts from Manitoba are headed to a Toronto music festival in June.
North by Northeast (NXNE) will host an array of local talent June 10-16, spanning genres from roots to R&B to indie rock.
Music fans and industry insiders can catch sets by some of Manitoba’s most buzzed about bands, including indie soul/rockers Imaginary Cities, Pipe + Hat, cinematic rock trio This Hisses, Anhedonia, and upbeat rap crew The Lytics.
Also taking the stage is R&B chanteuse Flo, garage rock outfit The Bokononists, pop noir artist Gt. Dane, up-and-coming punk duo Mobina Galore, and heavy music purveyor AstroCoven.
