TELUS is injecting $17 million into its wireless infrastructure throughout Manitoba this year.
To help bolster its industry share in the province, the network’s investment will help provide 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) to its prairie customers.
“With more than 150 TELUS team members in the province and our investment of $380 million in new technology and operations since 2000, we are proud to be contributing to the digital economy of Manitoba,” said TELUS vice-president Michael Sangster.
The company is also the platinum sponsor at the Dr. Goodbear Golf Classic — taking place today at the Glendale Golf & Country Club — where they have donated $15,000 to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Mantioba.
