The University of Winnipeg Wesmen women’s volleyball team has announced the commitment of Chloe Orteza for the 2013-14 Canada West season in September.
Orteza comes from Collège Lorette Collegiate, where she participated in the MHSAA AAA Provincial Championships in 2011-12 and 2012-13.
“Chloe played a huge role for us on our 18U Jr Wesmen Team this past season. Her work ethic, commitment and athleticism allowed her to grow immensely,” Wesmen head coach Diane Scott said. “She has work to do but its her attitude and willingness to play whichever role that has created this opportunity.”
The 5’11″ middle blocker/left side has won several awards in swimming, diving, soccer, basketball and track and field.
