More Than a Dozen Community Centres to See Upgrades: City

City of WinnipegEverything from windows to floors was on the wish list for 13 Winnipeg community centres this year.

About $400,000 will be spent at community centres around the city from the Community Centre Renovation Grant Program in the summer of 2013.

Renovations will be coming to Oxford Heights, Bronx Park, Deer Lodge, Park City West, Norquay, Riverview, Fort Garry, Whyte Ridge, Garden City, Tuxedo, Varsity View, Wildwood and Archwood community centres to pay for things like windows, floors, washroom renovations, kitchen renos and painting, with grants ranging from $8,100 to $50,000.
