A young Manitoba girl managed to escape an attacker while she was on a training run.
Carberry RCMP said the girl, 11, was running on Main Street in Carberry on Wednesday morning, training for an upcoming race.
She was then grabbed from behind by an unknown man, but managed to escape her attacker.
RCMP are investigating.
