Before heading out to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ first pre-season game on Wednesday, consider picking up a non-perishable food item for Winnipeg Harvest.
The local food bank’s annual Tin for the Bin initiative will continue at the new Investors Group Field, where fans are encouraged to make a food or cash donation.
Harvest has a top 10 list of the most-needed items it requires to fill its shelves and help the nearly 64,000 Manitobans it services each month.
Volunteers will be at entrance gates to collect donations prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff as the Bombers host the Toronto Argonauts.
