Nominations Open to Recognize Winnipeg’s ‘Top Cop’

The Kiwanis Club of Winnipeg Inc. has once again opened nominations for the second annual Kiwanis Top Cop Award.

The award aims to find an active-duty Winnipeg police officer who volunteers in a neighbourhood or organization and deserves recognition.

Officers can be nominated by their volunteer organizations, community member, peers and families for outstanding service and the finalists will be selected by a special awards selection committee.

The nomination deadline is July 31, 2013. The award will be given out during a gala dinner on Friday, November 8 at The Fairmont Winnipeg and pay tribute to the top three finalists for their outstanding contributions.

Nominations can be submitted online.
