The Manitoba Bison men’s hockey team is welcoming Alberta to open up the 2013-14 Canada West regular season in the fall.
The Bisons will host the Golden Bears on Friday, October 4 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, October 5 at 6 p.m. (Max Bell Arena).
The Bisons released their season schedule on Wednesday, which sees the women play on the road the same weekend facing the Alberta Pandas.
The Bison women’s hockey schedule continues with their season home opener not occurring until Friday, October 18 at 7 p.m. CT and Saturday, October 19 at a special time of 7:30 p.m. CT when the Mount Royal Cougars come to town.
Saskatchewan will again host the University Cup men’s hockey tournament from March 20-23, 2014 in Saskatoon. The CIS Women’s Hockey Championship is March 13-16, 2014 at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, NB.
