A three-year-old girl died Friday after drowning on Cross Lake First Nation.
The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. when two girls were reported as being unresponsive in the water.
One girl was resuscitated and transported to hospital for treatment, while the second girl was pronounced deceased, RCMP said. Her name isn’t being released.
Police are continuing to investigate.
