Manitoba RCMP have established a tip line in hopes of catching whoever is responsible for a rash of off-road vehicle thefts.

Police say since January, there’s been a significant increase in snowmobiles and ATVs being stolen. So far this year, 23 ATVs have been stolen in the Interlake area and haven’t been recovered.

RCMP believe the majority of the thefts are being committed by the same group of people.

The public can call 1-855-814-4118 or e-mail skidtips@rcmp-grc.gc.ca to provide tips relating to vehicle thefts, including off-road vehicles, heavy equipment and thefts from construction sites.

All information received will be treated confidentially.
