The wheels on the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike will begin turning again today as part of the annual fundraiser.

A group of 29 riders and one driver will pedal through the streets of Winnipeg this week to raise money for the HSF.

The ride will start at The Forks at 1 p.m. and head down Waterfront Drive before returning. Riders will follow the same route until 8 p.m. tonight, and again on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

On Thursday and Friday, the 30-foot long Big Bike will travel down Assiniboine Avenue from the Manitoba legislature, up Edmonton to York, down Carlton to Broadway, and back to the legislature from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Big Bike rides help raise funds to invest in life-saving research, engage Canadians to make heart-healthy choices, and advocate for healthful public policies.
