Football fans who haven’t yet purchased tickets to June 27th’s home opener for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have another chance.
A limited number of tickets have been released through Ticketmaster for the inaugural game at Investors Group Field against the Montreal Alouettes.
“This will be the last release of tickets for the inaugural game and opening of our new stadium,” said Blue Bombers president and CEO Garth Buchko. “This promises to be a great night both on and off the field and one no Blue Bomber fan will want to miss.”
Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 7:15 p.m. (barring any traffic snarls), with the opening ceremonies scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Kickoff is at 8 p.m.
Canadian rock legend Tom Cochrane will perform at half-time.
