A father-son duo from Winnipeg has made it on “The Amazing Race Canada” to compete in a cross-country dash for a half-a-million dollar grand prize.
Tim Hague Sr., 48, and Tim Hague Jr., 23, are the final pair in the nine teams to be announced.
How do the Hagues plan to win the race? “Have an amazingly fun time and see how far we can get, build each other up at all times,” the pair said in a release.
The team lists their motto as, “Just because you’ve been given a diagnosis does not mean the end of your life.”
The show will premiere with host and Manitoba Olympian, Jon Montgomery, on CTV July 15 and air Mondays at 8 p.m. CT.
