The taxman doesn’t just visit in April, but late June as well.
Friday is the last day residents can pay their City of Winnipeg property taxes with penalty.
“It’s important for property owners to make their payments by the June 28 deadline, to avoid penalties for late payment,” said Mel Chambers, director and city assessor of the Assessment and Taxation Department.
Residents can pay online at Winnipeg.ca, in person at any financial institution, by telephone banking, courier, or at City Hall, 510 Main Street or at the Bilingual Service Centre, 614 Des Meurons.
