Winnipeg’s spray pads will be staying open later as the city has extended their closure time from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
To coincide with the hot temperatures lately, families looking to cool off can take advantage of the extra two hours during the summer.
The city extended the hours last year on July 5 in response to several days in a row of sweltering temperatures.
The following spray pads will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. until further notice:
- Central Park Spay Pad
- Fort Rouge Spray Pad
- Lindenwoods Spray Pad
- Provencher Park Spray Pad
- River East Spray Pad

- St. James Assiniboia Centennial Pool Spray Pad
- St. Norbert Spray Pad

- Transcona Centennial Spray Pad (opening on Friday)
