Riding Mountain National Park will be having their own Canada Day celebrations on July 1.
Manitoba musicians Keith and Renée will headline the entertainment in Clear Lake, while YouTube star Maria Aragon will sing the national anthem.
The outdoor concerts are part of day-long festivities that will include a citizenship ceremony to welcome more than 40 new citizens to the country.
Children’s entertainer Kenny Shaw, and Carly Dow with her singing partner Jesse Matas of the Crooked Brothers, will also perform.
Parks Canada will also show off one of its new oTENTik ready-to-camp accommodations in the Wasagaming Campground.
In the evening, there will be special interpretive programs at the Wasagaming, Lake Audy and Moon Lake campgrounds as well as the famous “Into the Wild” car caravan leaving from the visitor centre.
Fireworks will go off at dusk in Onanole, just south of the Clear Lake townsite.
